She has officially been my sister-in-law for five years, but the 'in-law' part of that title faded away a long time ago. She is someone to laugh with, someone to vent to, and someone to blame things on. She’s the sister I should have had growing up, and I’m just glad she finally made it here. Thank you for not just joining the family, but for becoming the sister I never knew I was missing.

We have known each other since the days of finger paints and learning our ABCs (well one of us did). Over two decades together, since kindergarten through high school graduation and moving to Canada as teenagers through our big girl jobs, we’ve been the constant in each other’s lives. She's been my neighbor, my classmate, and my co-pilot across borders. I’m just grateful that after all that distance, she is still only a short drive away.

We’ve been through so many phases together, especially when it comes to hair. Different colors, different cuts, different eras, some questionable, some iconic but through it all, one thing never changed: our taste in music and, let’s be honest, our taste in people. That consistency says a lot about who she is, someone who knows herself, stays true to what she loves, and brings that same energy into her friendships.

Meet Dayana!
My person who is always open and down to try new things, which makes every plan with her feel exciting and easy.
One of her most impressive (and honestly legendary) talents is her ability to win free tickets to Absolut Comedy SO FREQUENTLY like it’s her full-time job, she really never misses.
She has a huge heart for dog shelters and adoption, and she’s genuinely the best dog mom. The way she cares for animals says everything about who she is : thoughtful, responsible, and full of love.
P.s her curly hair routine is undefeated!
Meet Kamila!
Baller is her middle name, the kind of person who somehow manages to do it all and still make it look effortless. She works her 9–5, teaches yoga on the side, and still somehow shows up at her 6 a.m. spin classes like it’s just part of her personality.
What really ties us together, though, is our shared love for capturing everything ,always taking photos of the little moments, the big moments, and everything in between.

Meet Joy!
Honestly, it couldn’t be more perfect. She quite literally brings joy into every room she walks into. Maybe we first bonded over being Bengali, sharing those little cultural things that just click without needing explanation. Or maybe it was the fact that we somehow both have a hundred different hobbies, and no matter when or where, we can always find something new (or slightly chaotic) to dive into together.
With my Joy, there’s never a shortage of things to do or things to get done and that’s what makes our friendship so easy and effortless.
Meet Emma!
This bridesmaid of mine is an absolute baller, in every sense of the word. She’s the kind of person who shows up for everything, physically or virtually while managing to be the coolest nurse and artist I know. Want to go for a show or rave? emma! need cpr? emma! need lip gloss? emma! need chunky crocs? emma! need someone to shotgun with? emma!
If I ever needed CPR, I wouldn’t even think twice about who I’d want by my side.

This bridesmaid of mine is, without a doubt, horrifyingly bad at Mario Kart and Smash like, if my life depended on her winning, I truly wouldn’t make it. And honestly… that’s part of why I love her.
She’s the kind of friend who will laugh with you, call you out when you need it, and humble you without hesitation but always with so much love behind it.
She also somehow runs what we lovingly call “Stephanie's sweatshop" where all of us bring our sewing machines, sit together, and just sew for hours. It’s chaotic, creative, and so us. (she does NOT pay us)
